The legacy system no longer keeps up

We modernise the system your business runs on, piece by piece, without stopping operations or losing what already works. And we look after it so it does not fall behind again.

When we get the call

From what is happening to what changes

This is how most enquiries start, and this is what changes once we solve it.

  1. “The system works, but nobody dares to touch it.”

    Change in parts

It is modernised module by module, with tests, and the current system keeps running until the new part replaces it.

  2. “It does not connect to anything we use today.”

    Connected

An API so the system can talk to the rest of your tools, and the data is no longer locked in.

  3. “Whoever built it is gone.”

    Yours, and documented

The code and the documentation are yours: anyone can pick it up, and it never depends on a single person again.

How we do it

Step by step, with the blocks it takes

  1. 01 Build

    Understand what is there

We map what the system does, what data it holds and which parts are critical, even without documentation.

You keep The map of the system and its data.

  2. 02 Build

    Plan the change

We decide what stays, what gets replaced and in which order, so operations carry on as usual.

You keep The plan in stages, with closed scope and price.

  3. 03 Build

    Modernise in parts

Each stage goes live alongside the old one, with the data migrated and validated.

You keep Each new part, in use.

  4. 04 Sustain

    Look after it

Maintenance, monitoring and continuous evolution, by the same team that built it.

You keep A system that stays current.

How long it takes A first stage in use takes about two months; a full modernisation, eight to ten. Scope and price for each stage are closed before we start.

What we need from your side

  • Access to the system, its data and the people who use it every day.
  • Whatever documentation exists, however little.
  • Windows outside operating hours for the migrations.

Questions

What people ask us before we start

Does it have to be replaced entirely?

Not always. Sometimes it is better to keep it and build alongside it: an API, a portal or dashboards that read its data.

Is any information lost in the migration?

Every migration is validated against the original data before anything is switched off.

Do operations have to stop?

The new runs alongside the old, and the steps that need it are done outside operating hours.

What if we also need to see the system’s numbers?

Its data can be read and turned into dashboards without touching it: Transform takes that on.
