A technical partner, not a supplier of hours

A technology consultancy that diagnoses the real problem before building the solution.

  • Judgement

    Engineering first

Our technical judgement comes from a track record of engineering work that shipped and held up. We favour an efficient, solid, easy-to-use solution over an expensive fashion.

  • Method

    We question before we execute

We don't just take in a requirement: we get involved and take part in shaping it. Our job is that the business objective is actually met.

  • Delivery

    Including what you don't see

Architecture, security and sound operational practice. A complete solution, not a screen that works.

Culture

Why we exist, and by what rules

The values say how we behave internally. What the client gets on each project is what the Triple E says.

Mission

To be our clients' technical partner: understand the business before building, question whatever needs questioning, and deliver complete solutions that produce real growth.

Vision

To be the consultancy companies choose when the problem is complex and cannot afford to be done badly — training, along the way, the professionals the industry needs.

Values you can hold us to

A value that obliges you to nothing is not a value.

  • 01

The problem leads, not the request

We take part in shaping the requirement, not only in executing it: we get into the client's business as if it were our own. When the request that arrives does not solve the problem, we say so before starting.

  • 02

At the leading edge, not trailing the trend

Knowing everything new is an obligation; recommending it is not. Technology comes in when the problem calls for it, and we have to be able to explain why that one and not another.

  • 03

    We deliver solutions, not appearances

Architecture, security and operations: what you don't see is what holds up what you do. A project closes when the problem has stopped existing in the operation, not when the screen already looks right.

  • 04

    People, not resources

Everyone knows what they are there for, what they are learning and where they can go. Coaching, training and big challenges, with the support and the time to enjoy them. A project is carried by a team that wants to be there.

Our people

We select talent, we don't fill positions

It is the fourth value, and it is the one holding up the other three: what we deliver can only be as good as the people who build it.

  1. 01

    How we choose

We are not looking for someone who fits a job description. We are looking for judgement: people who will argue a decision when they have grounds to. That is not requested in a job ad — it is spotted, and then trained.

  2. 02

    How we train

You learn by doing, with someone beside you who has done it before, on projects that actually matter. The people who work on an Alubyte project were trained with us; they did not come out of an urgent search.

  3. 03

    How we look after them

Comfortable, supported and with a challenge ahead worth having. Alubyte was built out of an appetite for this work, and the bar is that the appetite does not get lost along the way.

  4. 04

    What we ask of them

The Triple E is not a poster on a wall. Empathy, efficiency and excellence is what every person is asked for on every project, and it is the first thing we teach.

Which is why what we deliver cannot be separated from who does it.

Founders

The people behind it

The two who understand the problem, scope it and make the technical call. The specialists of each discipline work with them, not instead of them.

    Lucas Colussi

    Founding partner

A digital transformation and applied AI specialist: several companies taken end to end. Global CTO of an international freight forwarder, where he built from scratch the platform that is now its technological differentiator. Behind that, more than ten years serving retail, automotive, pharma, logistics and telecommunications, and leading multicultural teams globally. On an Alubyte project he takes the diagnosis and the technical call: he is the one who argues about scope before a line of code is written — a closed scope protects the client more than the supplier, even if it sounds like the opposite in the first meeting.

    Founding partner

A networks and infrastructure specialist, CISCO certified, with more than ten years in the field. He spent six years at the helm of his own technology consultancy, serving international clients. He now leads a team of technology integration experts at a global consultancy, and is a senior lecturer at Educación IT, where he trains people entering the field. On an Alubyte project he takes the client relationship: working out what someone needs when they cannot yet explain it, and saying what can be promised without compromising what has to hold up in production later.
