Privacy policy
What data this site collects, what for, and what you can ask us about it. It is short because the site collects little.

Who is responsible
The parties responsible for processing the personal data collected on this site are Lucas Colussi and Alejandro Aguas, as natural persons, until the company that will operate under the Alubyte name is incorporated.
For any question about this policy or about your data, the channel is hello@alubyte.com.
What data we collect
Whatever you send us. If you fill in the contact form, we receive your name, your email address and whatever you tell us about your project. If you write to us by email, we receive what you put in that message. Nothing else on this site collects data.
Aggregate usage metrics. We use Umami, an analytics tool running on our own server. It records page views, approximate country, device type and which site you arrived from. It uses no cookies, does not store your IP address, and does not build a profile of you or follow you across sites.
One preference stored in your browser. If you choose light or dark mode, that choice is stored in your own browser so the next visit respects it. That information never travels to a server: it lives on your device and you can remove it by clearing the site data.
What we use it for
What you write to us: to reply, and to assess whether we can help with what you need. Nothing else.
The aggregate metrics: to understand which pages get read and which do not, and to improve the site accordingly.
Who we share it with
Nobody. We do not sell, rent or transfer personal data to third parties. We use no advertising platforms and no third-party tracking tools.
The site is hosted on our own server and the analytics run on that same server, so usage data never leaves our infrastructure.
How long we keep it
Email correspondence is kept for the duration of the conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards, to give continuity to a possible commercial relationship. If you ask us to delete it, we delete it.
The aggregate metrics identify nobody, so there is no personal data to retain or erase.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to any personal data we hold about you, for its rectification if it is wrong, or for its erasure. Write to hello@alubyte.com and we will respond.
Argentina’s Law 25.326 provides that a data subject may exercise the right of access free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is demonstrated.
The Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública, the supervisory authority for Law 25.326, is the body with which you may file a complaint if you consider that we have not addressed your request.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything, we update the date in the header. Substantive changes — if we ever started collecting data we do not collect today — will be announced on the site before they take effect.
