02 / Connect · Infrastructure and cloud

A network that delivers what you pay for.

We design, organise and document your company’s network, servers and cloud, so it works well today and can be replicated at every new site tomorrow.

When we get the call

From what is happening to what changes

This is how most enquiries start, and this is what changes once we solve it.

  1. “We have a gigabit connection and everything still runs badly.”

The speed you pay for, at every desk

Networks separated by area and traffic in order: what matters does not compete with the rest.

  2. “We want to stop maintaining so much physical hardware.”

    Less hardware to look after

What makes sense in the cloud runs there, and what stays in the office is standardised.

  3. “Nobody really knows what is connected or who has access to what.”

    Everything connected, in plain sight

Monitoring to see the state of every device and deal with a problem before it stops your people.

  4. “We are opening another site and have to set everything up again.”

A new site, without starting over

A documented model to replicate: adding a site means following a proven design.

What it looks like

Your network, shaped by how your company works

Pick the scenario closest to yours.

One site

OFFICE PLANT GUESTS Internet Firewall Core Monitoring Backup Cloud PC Printer Machines Cameras Wi-Fi Phones

Each area on its own network, everything monitored, and a backup outside the building.

Several sites

MAIN SITE SITE 2 SITE 3 SITE 4 NEW SITE Firewall Core Same standard Same standard Same standard Same design VPN

Every new site joins with the same design: connecting it means following a model, not starting over.

Hybrid team

OFFICE From home Phone Travelling Internet Firewall Servers Devices ENCRYPTED ACCESS

Your team gets in from wherever they are as if they were at the office, and only to what they need.

In the cloud

CLOUD OFFICE Servers Email Backups Firewall Wi-Fi Devices SECURE LINK

Less hardware at the office: servers, email and backups run in the cloud, with the cost in plain sight.

What it includes

Service by service

Infrastructure and networking

The ground everything else runs on.

When you need it
When the network, the servers or the access rules have become the bottleneck — or when nobody can say with certainty what is connected, who gets in, and what happens if something goes down.
What you get
A survey of what is there, a design for what is missing, and the implementation: network, servers, access and backup, documented, with an operating plan your own people can follow without calling us.
Our commitment
If the problem is in the design, we say so before you buy bigger equipment.

See it in a case Infrastructure built so it would not be built again

Cloud computing

The cloud sized to your operation.

When you need it
When you have to decide what runs in the cloud and what does not, or when everything is already there and the bill is growing faster than the business.
What you get
An architecture sized for your real operation, a staged migration that does not interrupt service, and cost control built into the design from the first month.
Our commitment
If moving something as it stands solves nothing, we say so first: that is renting the same problem, now monthly.

How we do it

In stages, and each one leaves something in your hands

  1. 01

    Scoping

What is there, how it is connected, who gets in and what is worth changing.

You keep The inventory and the map of the network as it is today.

  2. 02

    Design

The network you need, sized for today’s operation and the one coming.

You keep The plan of the new network, the equipment and the budget.

  3. 03

    Implementation

In stages and without stopping the operation, with a way back at every step.

You keep The network running, site by site.

  4. 04

    Handover

So your people can run it with confidence from day one.

You keep The documentation, the monitoring and the processes to fix failures.

  5. It is yours

Everything we deliver is yours: the documentation, the configurations and the access stay in your name.

How long it takes A small project takes about a month; a large one, across several sites, can take a year or more. Scope and price are closed before we start.

What we need from your side

  • Someone who can make decisions.
  • Access to the sites and the equipment during scoping.
  • Whatever is documented, even if it is incomplete or out of date.

What you take away

  • A network designed to grow.
  • A model to replicate at the next site.
  • Monitoring to see and control the equipment.
  • Written processes to find and fix failures.

What we work with

Brands we know inside out

We work with the most widely used vendors and clouds, and choose according to your operation, your budget and what you already have.

Questions

What people ask us before we start

How much does it cost?

It depends on the size of the network and how much has to be redone. We charge per project, with a closed scope, and the price comes out of scoping: before we start you know how much it is and what it includes.

Do we have to stop the operation?

It depends on the change. Whatever can be done live is done without cutting anything. Whatever needs downtime is planned outside operating hours — a weekend, a night —, announced in advance and has a way back.

Do we have to replace all the equipment?

Only what is needed. The bottleneck is often the design rather than the equipment; and if it is worth standardising brands and models, it is done in stages.

What about network security?

It comes built into the design: separate networks and orderly access. If you want to go deeper — policies, training, controls —, Shield takes it on, with the same team.

Who looks after it afterwards?

Your team, with the documentation and processes we leave them. And if you would rather we stayed on, Sustain maintains it and helps it grow.

Let's start with what is going on

A conversation to understand the problem before talking about technology. If after that there is nothing to build, we will tell you.
